Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how AblaView S.L. uses cookies and similar local-storage technologies on ablaview.com, in line with Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and E-Commerce (LSSI-CE) and the EU ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC as amended.
1. What we use, and why
ablaview.com is a static informational site. It does not run advertising trackers, analytics pixels, social plug-ins, or third-party fingerprinting. The only client-side state we use is technical and strictly necessary for the site to function or to remember a preference you have actively set.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|
theme | localStorage | Remember your selected light or dark colour scheme | Until you clear browser data | AblaView (first party) |
ablaview-consent | localStorage | Remember your cookie banner choice so we do not ask again | 12 months | AblaView (first party) |
Our content delivery and hosting partner (Amazon Web Services) may set technical session cookies in response to direct HTTP requests as part of its DDoS protection and load balancing. These cookies, where present, are strictly necessary for service delivery within the meaning of Article 22.2 LSSI-CE and do not require prior consent.
2. What we do not use
- No Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or any other web analytics product.
- No advertising or remarketing cookies (no Meta Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag, no DoubleClick, no TikTok Pixel).
- No social media sharing widgets that set third-party cookies.
- No customer support chat widgets.
- No third-party fonts. The Inter typeface is self-hosted on our own origin (GDPR / Schrems II compliant).
3. How to manage your choice
When you first visit the site, a banner asks whether you accept all client-side storage or only the strictly necessary entries. Because the site currently uses only strictly necessary entries, both choices produce the same technical result. We remember your preference so that future tracking, if it were ever introduced, would be properly gated.
You can clear the ablaview-consent entry at any time using your browser’s developer tools or by clearing site data for ablaview.com in your browser settings. Clearing it will cause the banner to appear again on your next visit.
4. Browser-level controls
All modern browsers let you block or delete local storage and cookies on a per-site basis. The following links describe the procedure for each major browser:
5. Changes
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (for example, audience analytics), we will update this policy, re-prompt the cookie banner, and require fresh consent before such cookies are placed.
